Returns & Refunds Policy

At Velvet Brushes, we want you to love your painting experience as much as we do. However, we understand that sometimes a project might not be the right fit. Since we handle every order personally from our Bristol studio, we’ve made our return process as straightforward as possible.

The 30-Day Return Window

You have 30 days from the date your package arrives to decide if it’s right for you. Unfortunately, if 30 days have passed since your delivery, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Return Eligibility

Because our kits include acrylic paints that can dry out once unsealed, we can only accept returns if:

  • The canvas is brand new and has not been painted on.
  • All paint pots remain factory-sealed. We cannot accept returns if any paint lids have been opened.
  • The kit is returned in its original packaging with all brushes and accessories included.

How to Start a Return

To start the process, please send an email to contact@velvetbrushes.com with your order number. Once we verify your details, we will provide you with the return shipping address for our Bristol, PA studio.

Please Note: As a small boutique shop, we do not cover return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for returns that are lost in the mail.

Damaged or Missing Items

If your kit arrives and the box looks like it had a rough journey or if you find something missing, please let us know immediately! Send a photo of the damage to our email, and we’ll ship out a replacement kit or the missing parts right away at no extra cost to you.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return to ensure the paints are still sealed, we will send you a confirmation email.

Approved refunds will be processed automatically back to your original method of payment. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for the credit to appear on your statement, depending on your bank's processing time.
